Open Question: I need help with my Motorola Cliq?

I have a Motorola Cliq with service through T-Mobile. I know that T-Mobile is not the fan favorite, but here in the middle of Kansas everything sucks. I just want to know if any users seem to have trouble with their phones. I like to have the "News" widget on my background to get up to date news. After recently traveling to Michigan and back to Kansas it seems like my "News" widget doesn't want to work. It says no new News articles found. I also cannot even load it up with any of the News bundles. I am just wondering if there is a fix for this?
